Cezanne said it is the "small sensation," that first impulse that stimulates an artist to paint. In my case, I felt that "small sensation" when I started using my knowledge in color, form, balance & symmetry to make jewelry. I didn't start out as an artist, although I have always appreciated beautiful objects. I have a degree in mathematics. I worked in the corporate world for over ten years. I married and raised four sons. Only after all of that, I started taking classes in painting, ceramic sculpture, mosaics and (finally) jewelry design. I love incorporating the earth's natural, healing stones into my jewelry. I hand pick each stone and pair it with gems or decorative beads that complement the stone's coloring and shape. I hope you enjoy my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it!
